At Thaba Lions Educational Centre we strive to educate the public more thoroughly than most Zoos and Lion Parks.
We teach people how to interact with wild animals such as Lions and how to keep themselves safe while gaining this experience in as natural a setting as possible. We educate people on more than just the outside of this magnificent animal, we include interesting facts about things such as the size of their skull, paws, nails, teeth and much more. You get to hear all the different noises Lions make through very educational DVD that has been put together by Lombardi Lions with their 14 years of experience and learning from these amazing predators.
All questions you might have about the King of the Jungle will gladly be answered. While interacting with the lion cubs you will also learn that each Lion has its own personality and should be treated in its own special way, while keeping in mind that it is a wild animal.

- Weekends & Public Holidays 09:00 – 15:00
Entry Fee
- Adults: R120
- Kids under the age of ten: R80
- Kids under the age of three: FREE
- Pensioners with card: R50
Photo Fee : R 50 per print
